Following Chris Baxter's posting re. the Action
Plan For Australian Birds I e-mailed and requested a copy.It turned up
on Monday. Talk about heavy reading! 675 "A4" pages covering specied
thatare in some way under threat and the proposed action plans to reduce or
monitor that threat.
I do not know if the sale of
part of Telstra was a good idea or not but at least something worthwhile came
out of it.
A great effort by Qld. NPWS and Birds Aust., the principal
authors.
