Hi birders
I'd like to echo John Gamblin's sentiments about watching the weather and taking lots of care out there this weekend. Most of Victoria is either flooded or seriously waterlogged! Added to that, Melbourne Water have officially CLOSED the Western Treatment lant at Werribee until at least the Monday after the Twitchathon. Conditions in there are currently treacherous, and almost impassable by 2WD. Please DO NOT enter the WTP during the Twitchathon. You'll be in default of your permit conditions, and liable for disqualification from the Twitchathon for disregarding race coordinator's directions. Be careful out there ..... and keep any eye out for waterbirds; they'll be scattered so far and wide they'll be hard to spot!! Lawrie Conole
