Hi Michael and other birders Just an update on Spring migrants to Melbourne, in particular the Dandenong Ranges Olive-backed orioles, sacred kingfishers and fantailed cuckoos calling in both the Ranges and in nearby Lysterfield National Park....last year the kingfishers and orioles appeared to nest in this Park. Rose robins in numbers as they move through the Dandenong ranges. Both crescent [The Dandenong ranges] and yellow-faced honeyeaters[Lysterfield NP] in numbers and actively nesting. Few lewin's honeyeaters and no rufous fantails yet.
