I am planning a trip along the Birdsville Track in October and am dismayed to hear the latest developments regarding Koonchera Dune and Pandieburra Bore. Does anyone know of any other reliable sites for Letter-winged Kites, Eyrean and Grey Grasswrens and Yellow Chats along the Track? I have heard that Eyrean Grasswrens have reported in the dunes near Mungeranie. Have they been seen there recently? Thanks in advance, Allan Richards Sydney N.S.W Australia Phone: +61 (02) 9660-8062 Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
