Hi All, Yes we (5 people) were asked to leave the Koonchera Dune area a couple of weeks ago. A posse of 3 vehicles arrived and followed us out, they shot a steer on the way out (maybe letting us know they meant business). Other non birdos were also camping but had left before us. It is a problem when areas are in books like Thomas & Thomas that show camping areas. However it was good to see that the manager of Mt. Lyndhurst allowed campers who had asked permission, we had heard of birdos who were camping and had been chased out a week before we were there . Permission should be asked before venturing onto properties, regardless of the legalities or tenure as a common courtesy.
