The following observations were given at the NSW
Field Ornithologists Club meeting on 5 September 2000
Latham's Snipe 1 Gap Bluff, South
Head, Sydney Harbour NP 26/8/00 (this is the first report for the season, the
usual arrival date is about 14/8)
Koel Cuckoo 1 male Neutral Bay,
Sydney 4/9/00, this is an earlier arrival date than usual

Channel-billed Cuckoo 1 Mosman Bay, Sydney 2/9/00
(Wendy Bannister), this is an earlier arrival date than usual, the normal
arrival time is mid to late September.
