While on  a walk this afternoon near Murray Bridge in South Aust I heard and then saw a Rufous Songlark. This is a species I have not observed many times around here (or anywhere else for that matter).

Have other SA observers seen or heard this species in recent days or weeks?

Does this mean that the wintry weather we have had in recent weeks is about to burst into spring?

Happy birding,
