A recent posting gave the address of a site in US where files could be
converted to PDF.  Unfortunately, this site has been unable to work with
Microsoft files recently.

I have now found out that Adobe itself will register personal users to
convert three files.  They will even convert them oiff line and send the
finished product back as an e-mail attachments.  Simply go to www.adobe.com
and follow the links.
