Carter on the Canning,
Palliser in Phuket,
Duck in Grafton,
Bugger me that's FUNNY!

Seriously though folks Andrew Stafford took the trip to Grafton to see the Northern Pintail, a superb drake. The location is at Cowan Ponds nature reserve about 5.5 kilometres west of Grafton along the Gwydir Highway.

There is a hide there with a visitors book, if you go please sign the book as the local group like to show the the council the importance of this reserve. They are putting a fair bit of work into it and although not large, has a fair birdlist.
Cheers - Paul Walbridge.
