Hi Birders,
With all the talk about "Bird Routes" in local government areas, you need to be aware that David Johnson, of Baradine in the Shire of Coonabarabran, north-west NSW has received a local tourism grant to publish a "Bird Routes of Baradine" pamphlet, which covers birding spots in the Pilliga State Forests & Nature Reserve, the Warrumbungles area and Coonabarabran & Bardine areas generally. David has been working on the concept the past two years following the launch of the "Bird Routes of Barraba". The launch of the pamphlets will be September and there will be a day of special events. A special announcement will be made shortly so I don't want to take away their thunder other than to let you know there are other "Bird Routes" being planned..
