Aus Birders

I am, at present, trying to convince a group of local councils of the
benefit of copying Barraba and others in signing and promoting the area for
visiting birders.

I need the following information to improve my submission.

1. Approximate number of birders in Australia.
2. Average number of days Australian birders spend in each area when they
are touring.
3. Approximate number of overseas birders visiting Australia each year.
4. Average number of days spent in each area by overseas birders.
5. Figures showing economic benefit of birding to areas in USA and Europe.
6. Rate of increase in the birding tourism both in Australia and overseas.

Anyone who can help, could you reply direct as soon as possible, please.

I will send further details and results personally to those who can help.

Thanks

Terry
