Tom, Andrew and others,
On the topic of White-throated Nightjars I suspect at least some must
overwinter in SEQLD. On the night of 17/6 this year a group of us saw a
female WTNJ about 5 km back down the rd from Green Mountains (O'Reilly's),
Lamington National Park. The following night we saw male WTNJ siting on a
white post about 3km down the same road. Mid June seems a bit too early for
these individuals to be migrating.
