Hello all,

This is a request for any takers to look for Swift Parrots or Regent Honeyeaters
in North-East Victoria. To my knowledge, no-one is visiting Chiltern on Aug 5th
and 6th.

Although the North-East has relatively little activity at the moment, there is
still a chance for Swift Parrots, with 80 being sighted on a Grey Box flat at
Killawarra and 15 sighted (by a holidaying Lloyd Neilsen!) near Donchi Hill
picnic area in the May survey. Swift Parrots have been seen more recently in
the vicinity of Lloyd's sighting at Chiltern.

There are also a couple of White Box habitats that could well be worth a visit
by this time of year. If anyone is interested in taking this up, please email
me or call 03 5430 4357 for more details.

Simon Kennedy, Swift Parrot Project Officer
