Annie and I were with Fred van Gessel in Brisbane Waters National Park today
and we found Fuscous Honeyeaters in flowering Scribbly Gum in the heathland.

We certainly would not expect to see this bird on the heath.

Graham Pizzey notes the bird occurs in the "coastal banksia-scrubs and
heaths" but it is a first for me.

Brisbane Waters Nat Park is on the north side of the Pittwater where the
Hawesbury River enters the sea. (Just north of Sydney)
