"The Rufous-throated Honeyeaters had disappeared from here and the nearby Cloncurry River. Perhaps they're out on the Gulf Plains feeding on nectar in the native bauhinia woodlands, where I've seen them in winter previously. Any comment, Bob Forsyth?"
 
 Am only seeing the very odd Rufous-throated H/e at the moment. They tend to arrive during the wet season at the end of the year with heaps of juv's that have yet to acquire the throat patch and at a quick glance can be misidentified for the Brown H/e.
