No not a question on thee oil? but I need the good oil
answers to these three questions.

Whilst putting info together on a book that just grows
and grows ..... I've been studying the local white
backed magpies here in uptown Hastings.

1.) Any ideas why they, the white backed magpies,
avoid some of the local trees, worse then the plague?

2.) Has any voice recording work been carried out on
white backed magpies? as to the calls they produce at
certain times of the year? and only used at certain
times of the year?

3.) Is it totally a playing antic they perform when
you see them perched at the very top of a Pine tree?
or any other high tree for that matter that has whippy
type branches at the top?

Any help gratefully received with thanks,

John A. Gamblin
