Saturday 24 June

Following the sinking of the Treasure yesterday, 200 to 300 oiled
African Penguins have been admitted to the rescue station at SANCCOB
today, and they are starting to wash them.

A small team from the Avian Demography Unit are going across to
Robben Island tomorrow to assist with collecting oiled penguins
there.

Our email should have been down by now for tomorrow's recabling at
UCT. Next news on Monday.

Les
