Hi Jim
This isn't much of a contribution but might be of some use. A grassland bird
here in Aus that sings all night in spring-summer is the Singing Bushlark. This
is particularly the case on moonlit nights. I haven't seen anything published on
this and only speak from personal experience. It's a wonderful thing to listen
to! They sing in flight, as they do during daylight hours. Perhaps the
introduced Skylark does the same?
Are you confining yourself to passerines - some cuckoos are notable night-time
callers e.g. Common Koel, Pallid Cuckoo.
