Robert Eisberg of Santa Barbara Software has asked me to forward a message to Birding Aus users who use or are interested in the birdwatching database software BirdBase and BirdArea. The message concerns moving to the fifth edition of James Clements' "Birds of the World" either with or without the computer programs.

I have not forwarded the message because it may be construed as advertising. Anybody interested should either send an E-mail request to me directly and I will forward the message or visit the SBSP website at
