Clear but brief views of a fast-moving party of six Swift Parrots as they
flashed through the garden at Abberton today, seen by Geoff Anderssen,
Eileen and myself.

Our eucalpts here are primarily tesselaris and teretorcornis, none of these
in flower, and no box trees so there was no strong reason for them to stop.

Just a little bit late for the survey weekend.

We had them here in June 1988, and again from June to September in 1990, but
nothing since until today, so keep your eyes peeled in southern Queensland,
it could be a good year.
