There are also hundreds of them making a very good living at the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo.

If they were on the coast, they'd give the sea-gulls a run for their money. I don't think I saw a scrap of food last on the ground for more than a few seconds before it was descended upon by the feathered vacuum cleaners.

While I realise that this may raise concerns regarding their diet, all the birds looked and acted remarkably well.
