I am slightly puzzled by Ian Fraser's posting. Are Superb Parrots migratory? If not, why would they have left the Cowra area? When I lived down that way, I always saw Superb Parrots somewhere in the area of Cowra to Boorowa when I visited or passed through, no matter what time of the year. They were easy to find around the Japanese Gardens in particular and along the Boorowa road. Was I just lucky or has the pattern changed during the last five years?
