Take the wombatmobile to places it's not seen.
Hi all, just got this from the advance party and all
seems healthy around Nyngan, so I forward it on to you

Hi John,
I am in the library at Gunnedah. We stopped for a bit
on our way to Tamworth where we will camp tonight.
I had to send you a message about our birding day
yesterday. We were camped at Nyngan on the Mitchell
Highway north of Dubbo. Yesterday we got up early and
went out to try to find our way to the Maquarrie
Marshes. We never found them, but we had a fantastic
day. We saw around 45 species of birds in six hours
and eleven of them were new ones. And there was such a
range! We saw Yellow-billed Spoonbill, Blue Bonnet,
Blue-faced Honeyeater, Yellow-throated Miner, Zebra
Finch, Plum-headed Finch, Spotted Harrier, Yellow
Thornbill, Pied Butcherbird, one I can't remember now,
and a Black Falcon! It was a great day.
Sounds like Eggy is growing up. I imagine he would
stop traffic if you walk into town with him on your
head.
