>At the You Yangs (between Melb. & Geelong) on Sunday, I saw a Pink Robin - a >brown bird. I haven't seen them here before. Does anyone know how common >they are in this area? Brown birds turn up in many woodland areas in Autumn-Winter, and I've seen them at the You Yangs during this period. Other good places include the Geelong Botanic Gardens (often 5+ birds in the rose gardens there), Bannockburn, Brisbane Ranges, etc. Cheers -- Lawrie ********** Lawrie Conole 3 Gezireh Street, Pascoe Vale South 3044, Victoria, AUSTRALIA.
