Just got back from Ballina.

Myself, Ian Puckrin and Bo Totterman managed to see 2 immature SIPOs in 10
minutes on Saturday morning. At South Ballina beach. They are the 5th and
6th SIPO individuals that Bo has seen there. With there being up to 4 in
Brisbane there is obviously something going on with this species in Eastern
Australia.

In the same day in the area we saw ALBERT'S LYREBIRD, VARIED TRILLER (3),
WHITE-HEADED PIGEON (6-8), EMERALD DOVE (1), BROWN CUCKOO-DOVE (3), TOPKNOT
(50), LITTLE SHRIKE-THRUSH (1).

Then on the way home we saw 4 MANGROVE HONEYEATERS at Yamba along with 2
WHITE-CHEEKED AND 4 BROWN HONEYEATERS.

Cheers
Phil.
