I have some questions regarding 2 wetland sites in the Hunter Region:

Walka Water Works - is this area accessible in anyway to birder's? Does this ares support much waterbirds?

Morpeth Sewerage Treatment works - is this area accessible in anyway to birder's? I have driven past here on 2 occassions but appears to be all high fenced and out of reach.

Does anybody know of other wetland sites in the Hunter Area (for example around Maitland) which are worth visiting besides the more well known sites within 15 km around Newcastle?

Thanks

Edwin
