I just thought I'd let anyone who is interested know that the Mackay &
Whitsunday branch of the Bird Observers Club of Australia (MACBOCA) is
having a field trip to the Calen area ( north of Mackay) on Sunday April
2. The venue is on private property and usually provides a good variety
of species - Wedge-tailed Eagles to Sunbirds.
If you happen to be in the area why not join us. We meet at the  park
opposite the Calen Hotel at 0800hrs.
