Hello all,

Recently, Martin O'Brien mentioned that Apostlebirds were once found on Gunbower Forest (Island?) in Northern Victoria. It is interesting that recently a report of a flock of Apostlebirds was reported on the Island.

As a matter of further interest, there have also been two separate reports of Australian Bustards in the area in the last couple of months.

For those subscribers interested in Bellbirds,  they are regularly heard, if not seen, in Kamarooka Forest, just north of Bendigo, Victoria.

Regards,

Chris Coleborn
