Hello BirdingAusers,

I have recently published my own web-site.
As a feature of that site I have included details of a sighting I made of the Regent Honeyeater last year (1999) near Warwick, SEQ.
I have included a mud-map of this location and  some photos of Regent Honeyeater taken by Brian O'Leary (at another location).
To look at this info go to my web-site: http://www.powerup.com.au/~inglisrc and click on the Regent Honeyeater link on the lefthand side.
Please pass on any details of Regent Honeyeater sightings to the contacts on the page.

Incidentally, I am making this information public this way because I believe that by encouraging more genuine bird-lovers to frequent the sites of rare and endangered species it may make it harder for those 'other people' to indulge in their anti-social activities. Also, more real value may be placed on these areas as natural refuges for our valuable wildlife.

As this is a new site I would be grateful for any comments if people are having trouble using the site.

Bob Inglis
