Hi all,

I picked this up from the oriental birdclub list. Can anyone confirm this
rather disturbing news?

Tony.

My Asahi Evening News tonight reports a couple being attacked in 'Aung Kha
national park' in Chiang Mai province. The 24 year-old Australian man was
shot dead and his female companion was hurt but excaped. They 'had camped
on the peak for two weeks during a birdwatching expedition, polce said.'

there are few other details.
