A great Sunday morning which I'd like to share.

Plum-headed Finches at Abberton this-morning. The first for six years.

A visitor reported a flock of 20 or so unidentified small finches yesterday,
and this-morning in the same area we found just a few adult and immature
plum-heads. Nearby a young Horsfield's Bronze Cuckoo being attended by
Superb Fairy-wrens, and then just when we were ready for breakfast, the
Red-tailed Black Cockies turned up for their morning feast in a white cedar
tree.

So, it's nearly 9am, we haven't eaten yet, and if things don't settle down
for a while, we probably won't!
