Phil also mentioned that there are Little Bitterns showing themselves
(easily?) at L. Wendouree in Ballarat at the moment.  Any comments on
that one?

quite easy to see as the water level is low and in places, the reeds are
almost lying down.  I saw them a couple of times when I lived in 
Ballarat, but not as good as the views the local birdo's, and others,
are getting at the moment.

speaking to her about them last week.
