Southern Ocean Seabird Study Association Banders recorded the following
interesting occurences from Bateman's Bay in addition to the usual suspects:

January 15 2000

Wind NE 15 to 20 knots

White Tern 1
Sooty Tern 5
White-necked Petrel 1
Black Petrel 2
Buller's Shearwater 1

Short-finned Pilot Whale 60+

January 16 2000

Wind NNE 10 to 15

Gould's Petrel 2
Tahiti Petrel 1
Sooty Tern 3

Amazingly, amidst these sub-tropical species there were still assorted
albatross!

cheers
Milburn
