Greetings,
The new facilities at the 'Gabba in Brisbane are already providing
good naturalising. At yesterday's India-Pakistan one-day cricket
match I had nice views of a Peregrine Falcon cruising over before
play started and again at the beginning of the second innings. Of
course I did have my binoculars, but didn't need them for the
highlight of the evening - a rat which made its way across the oval
in the evening before getting caught on camera making a dash for
cover and misjudging its leap somewhat (head-butting the
fortunately soft wall). If you are quick you might catch it on
Tuesday night's sport's news. As lazy naturalising goes, an
afternoon at the cricket has got to rate highly!
Cheers, Phil.
