A special vote of thanks to Russell W,Andrew T,and their helpers for
providing this wonderful facility.

Earlier this year, I was with a small party and we saw Black-kite eating
a Cane Toad and we later counted 15 carcasses under the tree.
Near this location ,a fortnight later (but using the cross bar of a power
pole )
I saw a Black-kite take 12 minutes to eat the intestines of a large (for our
area) Cane Toad. Some 50 km north I found hundreds of small Cane Toads
& all with there bellies removed.

I had been unable to find any info on this subject until I tried the
Birding-aus Archival Search !

"cane toad" returned 33 hits
"cane toad" AND "black kite" returned 6 hits and ALL good reading !

It is imperative to read the instructions of how to construct the enquiry as
stupidly including a hyphen gave zero results
