Dear all,

A reminder that the Owls2000 Conference is coming up soon - January 19-23 -
in Canberra (ANU).

The Registration Booklet can be downloaded from the ARA website
(www.tasweb.com.au/owls2000/index.htm) or requested from
  This contains the Provisional Conference Programme
and information about post-conference tours.

The conference has attracted several of the world's most prominent owl
biologists who will be providing keynote presentations on a range of
interesting topics.  Symposia will include papers on owl population ecology,
behavioural ecology, cultural influences, status/threatening processes,
spatial aspects of owl conservation and management, and forest management
applications. A workshop session is devoted to field methods for studying
owls.

Full registration fees include meals and a copy of the proceedings when
published.  Day registration fees are $75.
