Dear Field Reps, fellow staffers, Earthwatch list members,

On the chance you're a birder, know one, or belong to chat groups of birders,
I would be incredibly grateful for any help you could possibly give Earthwatch
Institute in getting the word out to good birders about the need for help on
these projects.

As you may have noticed, there's an exciting new project on Waterbirds of
Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory, Australia:

And we're continuing support for seven other important projects. Thanks a
Best, Blue

Europe Africa Songbird Migration:

Soaring Birds of Eilat:

Tanzanian Forest birds:

Whooping Cranes in Florida:

Forest Birds of Ecuador:

Andean Hummingbirds in the Manu Biosphere Reserve in Peru:

The Shenandoah Wildlife project's May team will band, sex and record the many
birds species that are competing for food with the deer and chipmunks of the
Blue Ridge Mountains in

P.S. The Earthwatch website is all up-to-date with the 2000 projects, (Hit
Reload on your computer!) and the new Expedition Guide should be in your
mailbox if you're a member. If not call your nearest office to join, or
request a copy. We're changing our website URL's soon, so the little 'x'
before the Principal Investigator's name soon will not be if
these links, or others you've bookmarked, don't work in a few weeks, just
delete the little 'x', as in the Dorfman project description.
