Dear Birding-Aussers,

The August 1999 issue of Birding, The American Birding Association
magazine, has an article on their new publication, "North American Birds".
On page 336 of Birding, there is a picture of the cover of this new
publication with a nice looking, presumably North American, bird on it.

What is the bird? There is no clue on the front cover and I don't subscibe
to NAB, so can anyone help, please?
