Gooday Alex and birding-aussers,

When I get a bit of time I will update birding-aus on the Collinsville bird
death issue. I forwarded on the land clearing thread from the list to
members of the Queens Beach ALP. One reply so far, hope that it does not
offend some people. But this will give an indication of the depth of feeling
being experienced by many in Queensland who feel helpless on this land
clearing issue.
I was at the ALP State Conference this year representing Dawson, it was
there that I witnessed the Neanderthals from the AWU faction bring in 100 or
so vocal AWU unionists that shouted down delegates argueing the case for a
RFA. What action by the State President!  None.
He allowed speakers to be intimidated by these environmental thugs that
stated they were protecting their industry and jobs?
