Just in case anyone is interested, you can now "purchase by donation" the
excellent PC CD-ROM John Gould's Birds of Australia for a special discounted
price of $29.95.

The donation can be to any registered charity (or local bird club /
naturalists club). All I do is send you the CD.

Please note well: this price and deal is available ONLY direct from me
(Heather, the person who made the CDs) at - if you prefer to
buy retail, this CD-ROM is currently $49.95 and available from Birds
Australia, Harvey Norman, Brashs, etc.

Yes, there are limits ("please be reasonable"). For more info:

All our PC CD-ROMs are available using the same scheme: Bahasa Kita -
Indonesian for school and business ($79.95), ErgoWise ($20), the Broome
birdlife and scenery screensaver ($20), the Antarctic wildlife and scenery
screensaver ($20) ... as well as environmentally-friendly greetings cards
designed for re-use ($15 for pack of 6).

I really hope some of you people out there think this is a good
"fund-raising" idea, and take me up on it.

regards

Heather

P.S. If you think this is a spam and doesn't belong on Birding Aus - please
"get real", I'm just trying to do something to help bird conservation in one
way that I can. If you really need to discuss it, please email me
personally - rather than wasting airspace on birding-aus - or giving Russell
a hard time. Thanx.
