Hi Ian
I'm happy to report that my team, the Common Driving-Petrolheads (Lawrie
Conole [captain], Grant Baverstock, Susan Myers, Stuart Dashper, Russell
Woodford) managed to pull off back-to-back wins in the Victorian
Twitchathon. This year we won with 205 species. Best birds were
species such as Black Honeyeater, Wood Sandpiper, Spotted Harrier, both
heathwrens, etc. Worst dip was probably Olive-backed Oriole or Sacred
Kingfisher. We covered our usual area in central Victoria (see web page
for details - below).
