Sorry I wasn't able to help with the colouring in comps extra. I've been off the internet for seven weeks....long story...blame Northnet! I would like to suggest that the answer is that the larger of the Columbidae family are pigeons and the smaller of this family are the doves.

By the way does anyone know if Straw-necked Ibis eat dung beetles?
I'm working on a dung beetle project with landcare and my school. I'm going to do field research for this question but I thought I would ask here first.
If not what do they eat pacifically?

             Regards Rachelle

What makes a dove a dove and a pigeon a pigeon?
