Thanks to all who responded, as well as everyone else.

There's quite a bit of interest in rakali (water rats) and the
general topic and I will reply as soon as I can.  I've just
received the draft summary of a meeting hosted by Bayside City
Council on rakali research in Victoria and am working on that.
