Ian Read, author of a number of outback driving guides, did a lot of his
travel in a 1970 Kingswood.  His discussion of the relative merits of
2WD vs 4WD vehicles - a disadvantage of a 2WD is that it "cannot get you
out of a bog as readily as a 4WD (easily avoidable except for that fatal
statement "I'll just give it a go")
