It will all come down to just how resident your honeyeaters are.  I assume
that numbers fluctuate indicating that there are birds coming and going.
Also, are the resources there to allow the honeyeaters that potentially
nested in the area to remain for a while?


I make these points as I have had dependant juvenile Regent Honeyeaters
(young and parents colour-banded) more than 20 km away from the nest site
within a couple of weeks of fledging.  It there therefore possible for
adults feeding young not to have bred at that particular site.  On the
other hand, I have had young stick around for quite a while WHEN there are
sufficient resources to allow this.
