-- As part of our studies into the distribution of Sooty & Pied Oystercatchers
and
Hooded Plovers along the NSW coast we are seeking information on sightings or
known
breeding stations of these three threatened species in NSW.

We have been conducting studies into the breeding biology of the Sooty
Oystercatcher at
the Five Islands Nature Reserve for the past five years. As part of the studies
we have
been colour banding chicks in order to determine dispersal from the islands.
Please
note colour combinations of any colour banded birds.

Your assistance in this project is appreciated.
