birding-aus RFI: Innamincka, Goongie Lakes. Goyders lagoon, Birdsville etc etc

Some friends (members of the Vic Twitchathon team "the Common Loadmouths") are travelling to North East SA, SW Qld, NW NSW. In particular they are passing through Gluepot, Innamincka, Coongie Lakes , Birdsville, Goyders Lagoon, Peera Peera Poolamma, Merty Merty, Cameron Corner, Bollards Lagoon and Tibooburrara (well, more or less).

They are departing early in Sept.

Any current information regarding good bird sites or contacts on this route would be greatly appreciated.
