A BEAK OFF! I mean.. a BAKE OFF! sounds wonderful!

An excellent idea! and a good way to get people involved in the contest
who might otherwise think
they had nothing to contribute ... along with a tasty
cake contest perhaps a fun prize for the best "bird's cake" - perhaps a
seed confection AND a cake decorated in a birdy manner??? These would
make wonderful display
items also ... I hope the town hall has tables! You
might get a Frankston or local cake store to help judge the cakes!
Darling when we get married will we have a bride cake or a bird's
cake?? XXX Did you know in America we have "groom's cakes" too? Usually
these are rich chocolate with buttercream frostings!
Very good! A groomsman serves the cake as well.. so you stop and get
your white bride's cake and your tastier groom's cake! XXX
