Mike Carter spent a profitable afternoon at Cape Schanck a couple of
months ago, the species of which I listed on birding-aus on behalf of
Mike.
I pelagic watch at Cape Schanck on a fairly regular basis. While I
haven't recorded the exciting birds that they have been seeing off
Magic Point(what an appropiate name)nevertheless the alby's are still to
be seen in good numbers.
I have been going to Cape Schanck for many years now and a species that
I used to see regularly that sadly I don't see these days is the
Wandering Albatross, due of course to the disasterous effects of long
line fishing.
