Hi Folks

On clearing my emailbox, I came across this posting that I'd missed
earlier.

In it Julian Bielewicz commented:
". And far from

Magic!"

Thought I'd just mention that we have Shining Bronze-Cuckoo visiting us at
the moment. It arrives here every year about this time and sings like mad
all day. It generally stays in the steep hilly, rocky woodland of the
vacant Crown Land opposite our house, but a few years ago 2 individuals
were calling from the Marri tree in our front garden only a few meters from
the front door. They kept me there behind my binocs for half an hour while
they loudly announced their presence. It was great - magic! Further the
sun very obligingly shone upon them most of that time, so I got a good look
at them at their shining best.

Regards

Jenn Muir
